    (Prov 18:10) The righteous find refuge in God’s name (SAFE). Grace, peace, God the Father (1 Cor 1:3). The word, grace, is loaded with power (2 Cor 12:9). Peace is rooted in a growing relationship with God (Phil 4:7).

    (Prov 1:1-7) The beginning of knowledge is reverence in God. Doctrine of grace, doctrine of peace continued (Phil 4:7; 1 Cor 1:4-7). We are to thank God always for people in our lives, even those with shortcomings.

  • 1 Corinthians 11 - Apr 14, 2024

    (Prov 3:5-6) Trust in the Lord and He will sustain you. The baptism of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 12:13). Union in Christ (Gal 2:20). Doctrine of grace, TULIP doctrine (1 Cor 1:3). Doctrine of peace (Phil 4:7).

  • 1 Corinthians 10 - Apr 7, 2024

    (Ps 116:8-9) Trust God and He will deliver. Communion: Without Jesus’ sacrifice, we wouldn’t be saved from sin. Doctrine of baptism continued (Acts 19:1-7; 1 Cor 1:13-17; 12:13).

    (Ps 103:1-22) God’s essence on display. The calling and uniqueness of Paul (Acts 8-9). God’s used His grace to select Paul for apostleship (Gal 1:15). Doctrine of sanctification (1 Cor 1:2).

    (Ps 136:26) God’s love never fails. Valentine’s Day tribute: whether married or single, you can rejoice in God’s love (Ecc 4:19-12; 1 Cor 7:32). Disciples vs. apostles, doctrine of the church, God’s unconditional grace (1 Cor 1:1-3; Acts 9:9-19).

    (Ps 34:8) Taste and see the Lord; He is good. Communion: Our spiritual nourishment. Chapter summaries for 1 Corinthians. Paul focuses on spiritual problems of carnal Christians and divine solutions.

  • 1 Corinthians 1 - January 28, 2024

    (Ps 133:1-3) Unity in God’s family. First Corinthians: navigating faith, love, and unity. This book exhorts believers to foster unity among themselves to align their hearts and minds with Christ (1 Cor 1:10).
